Silver Mountain Resort’s Morning Star Lodge is a premier, well-appointed vacation rental and resort condominium development. The rooms are Mountain-Lodge-Style and impeccably designed, with a selection of floor plans and options available to accommodate families and groups of any size and on any budget. Many room plans include in-room laundry facilities, and all rooms have either a full kitchen or kitchenette. Pet friendly rooms are available upon request at time of reservation with a $35 fee. The Morning Star Lodge and Village has public gathering areas warmed by fireplaces, and all rooms have access to rooftop and terrace level hot tubs, and all rooms include passes to the massive indoor waterpark, Silver Rapids. The main Gondola House is right here, in The Village. The Overnight Parking area and Vendor Row is directly across the road, which is where most of the riders will be working on their bikes before and after their races. This is a great place to stay if you don’t want to haul a camper or RV, and there’s plenty of gated parking for your pickup (no trailers allowed in gated lodge parking areas). Advance parking reservations and/or permits are highly recommended.

The sister property of Silver Mountain Resort, the Silver Inn is more of a traditional hotel experience, which may be exactly what you are looking for. The Silver Inn was purchased by Silver Mountain Resort in late 2019, and was renovated at that time as well. This hotel does provide a provide a continental grab n go style breakfast for its guests, as well as high speed internet, and discounted rates for guests for Silver Rapids Water Park. It is a short 2 min drive (0.6 mi) from the rider marshalling area, Vendor Row, and Gondola House via Bunker Ave, so spectators staying here should take that into account in the mornings (the Gondola line gets long). In summary, not as fancy and resort-like as Morningstar Lodge, but it is clean, very reasonably priced, and comes with breakfast!

This hotel is right next to the Overnight Parking area/Vendor Row/Rider Marshaling area, and across the road from the Gondola House. If you want to be in the mix of things, don’t want to stay at the resort, and don’t want to haul a camper, this is the best option for you. It’s a little older, and the decor is definitely “nostalgic”, but it has a ton of reasons to choose this location:

MOTORHOME AND RV PARKING AT SILVER MOUNTAIN RESORT
Silver Mountain Resort does not allow tent camping on their premises. This includes all parking areas, as well as any part of Silver Mountain.
No Tents Allowed. No Firepits or Open Fires Allowed.
OVERNIGHT PARKING ACROSS FROM THE RESORT (AREA “A” ON THE MAP)
RV/Camper/Motorhome trailer parking is referred to as “Overnight Parking” or “O/N Parking”.
Each parking permit is valid for 1 truck and 1 trailer.
OVERNIGHT PARKING PERMITS ARE LIMITED (IT IS ADVISED THAT YOU BUY THEM AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE)
Permits will be purchased directly from Silver Mountain Resort Online eCommerce Site and picked up at the Silver Mountain Resort ticketing windows.
Like the Spectator Gondola tickets, these are all WILL-CALL (you pick them up on site) – THESE ARE NOT E-TICKETS.
The exact number of permits per night for RV or truck+trailer O/N parking is currently estimated to be between 175-200 spots across from the Resort (TBA).

Please note: the map highlights parking areas and how you need to park your camper in Lot A (all vehicles and trailers need be parked parallel to Bunker Ave to allow access for the Fire Department).
This is where the majority of the action happens before and between races, where you’ll see racers and their mechanics working on their bikes.
Super-close to the Gondola House (literally across the road) for getting up the mountain for Off-Road Race Days.
Each permit will cost $53 plus any applicable taxes per night for race week.
You must have a permit for each night.
Permits are non-refundable.
All dogs/pets must be on a leash at all times when on Silver Mountain Resort and Kellogg High School property, which includes the Village and Overnight Parking areas.
No dogs/pets are allowed on the gondola or mountain at any time during Silver Kings Hard Enduro events.

There will be paid over-flow parking at the High School for those who miss out on O/N parking permits, but only for certain days.
Please note that racer registration is Tuesday and Wednesday, and Race Day 1 is THURSDAY.
This may not be a viable option if you, or anyone in your party, is racing!
